Way 1: By Air (Fastest & Easiest) ✈️
Fly to Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport (Guwahati, Assam) – the nearest major airport. From Guwahati, Meghalaya is just a 2.5 to 3-hour drive to Shillong (approx. 100 km). Taxis and shared cabs are easily available at the airport.

The nearest railway station is Guwahati Railway Station. It’s well connected to major cities like Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai. From the station, you can hire a taxi or take a shared cab to Shillong.
